Gut Repair Week 3

Week 3 is in full swing. It could be week 6 for all I know. I feel like I’ve been sucking down pills FOREVER. I’d much rather being sucking down fresh coconuts. Sounds like the perfect diet to me.

Well, it seems as though the HCL and digestive enzymes are doing their job. As far as gut healing is concerned… time will tell. I feel like I’m absorbing more, but I’m still experiencing some random bloating.

Pro Tip. If you are using the Repairvite Powder, you know that it’s not especially delicious when mixed with water. I found a delicious alternative. Mash up some cooked yam and add a little full fat coconut milk and some cinnamon. Then stir in the repairvite powder. It’s freaking yummy. Tastes like Thanksgiving fare 🙂 You’re welcome.

It’s gotten to the point where it’s annoying and I want it to be over. At first, I liked the lack of options. It made life much simpler. But food just isn’t any fun anymore. I miss the ritual of my decaf and yerba mate lattes. I miss smoothies with banana. I miss quick and easy egg dishes.

It could be worse though, so I’m counting my blessings that I am allowed to enjoy things like meat, avocados, sweet potatoes, and berries. My favorite is dry roasted sweet potatoes with a bit of sea salt and black pepper.

My hips feel much more open and I’m no longer achy like an old woman. In general I think my alignment is improving and even though I’m not doing any weight lifting, my body weight workouts are more than sufficient for building strength.

Yesterday I did a circuit of :

150 m row sprint
5 decline pullups
15 incline pushups
25 skater squats
35 sit ups

Try it out and see how many rounds you can do in 15 mins!
