What I Ate Wednesday

What do I usually eat? That’s the question I answer in these posts. We can all use some inspiration to spice up our weekly meals!

2.5 oz. smoked wild salmon (Trader Joe’s $5.99/5 oz.)
2 fresh organic eggs (Sprouts, $4.99/doz)
1/2 avocado (local latin market, $1/each)


Lunch (post yoga)

4 oz. crispy pork belly (pre-cooked Trader Joe’s)
1/2 head romaine (Trader Joe’s $2.49 for 3 heads)
1/2 c. pico de gallo salsa (local Latin market, 3.99 for 1 lb.)
1/4 avocado (local latin market, $1/each)
1 teeny tiny halved and roasted yam (3 lb. bag from Trader Joe’s, $3.99)


After Lunch Caffeine!

1 oz. 100% cocoa baking discs (Whole Foods $7.15 for 1/3 lb.)

Bacon Broccoli Caesar Salad with Bacon, Broccoli, Cabbage (it’s St. Paddy’s after all!) and homemade dressing

1 glass of wine (cab)

6 – 7 oz. Homemade Corned Beef (for my friend’s St. Paddy’s Day Birthday!), cabbage and a pickle!
