Turmeric Mango Slaw

I love slaw but I don’t love all the chopping. This one is mega easy cause you just drop in to your local Trader Joe’s and grab a bag of cruciferous slaw, add some sliced bell pepper, mango, basil, cilantro, parsley, green onion, mayo, squeeze of orange, and Trader Joe’s Turmeric Almond Butter dressing and VOILA!

I add lots of red pepper flakes for some spice and chicken for some additional protein.

This is a great “make ahead” lunch since the flavors get better over time and the veggies become more digestible as they sit in the dressing.

Turmeric Mango Slaw

Bag of Trader Joe’s Cruciferous Slaw
1 c. diced mango
1 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced thin
2 green onion, sliced thin
3 basil leaves, chiffonade
small handful cilantro, chopped
small handful parsley, chopped
1/4 c. golden Raisins

Dressing

1/2 bottle Trader Joe’s Turmeric Almond Butter Dressing
2 Tbsp. Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Mayo
Squeeze of orange
red pepper flakes (optional)

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Serve with grilled chicken or shrimp if desired.
