There’s been a huge lag in my pregnancy posts because… SURPRISE! I’m not pregnant anymore!
Atlas Jacob Ledford was born at 5:56 am on his mommy’s birthday July 17.
I’ll definitely share the details in an upcoming “birth story” post, but for now I really want to play “show and tell” with Atlas’ Nursery!
My personality is such that I would never think to decorate a baby boy’s room with powder blue teddy bears, construction trucks and race cars, or even the more currently popular arrows and tepees. I wanted something minimal, fun, young, and somewhat gender neutral so all the baby items could carry over to our next child, boy or girl.
I settled on the idea of using black and white as the basic color scheme with pops of green provided by plants and other items in the room. I am really loving how it turned out and actually spent a lot of time doing yoga in this sweet, quiet space before he arrived!
