Jalapeño Chimichurri Sauce

If you add one recipe to your culinary arsenal this summer, it should be this sauce. I’m not even kidding. The light and fresh herbs plus a mildly spicy jalapeño kick and a wallop of salty garlic… it’s literally the perfect companion for EVERYTHING!

Fish. Yes.

Shredded Pork. Yes.

Grilled Steak. Yes.

Eggs and Bacon. Yes.

Salads. Yes.

Smoothies…. well, maybe not everything. But close.

Jalapeno Sauce

Jalapeño Chimichurri Sauce

1 bunch cilantro about 2 c. (use everything above the rubber band/tie)
1 bunch parsley, about 2 c. (use everything above the rubber band/tie)
1 jalapeño
3-4 garlic cloves (depending on size)
3/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. water
salt to taste (make it a little saltier than you would think)

  1. Blend well in a high-powered blender.
  2. Drizzle on your favorite grilled summer kebabs or add to a nice steak with butter!
