The Slate is Clean!

Day 30 has come and gone, at Disneyland no less. Sure, there was a bit of dark chocolate and some celebratory red wine, but all in all, the healthiest trip to an amusement park I’ve ever witnessed. Yet again, the folks at The Blue Bayou were incredibly accommodating with my gluten-free and dairy-free request. The chef came out and took my order. I had some tasty short ribs with veggies. They even offered me some gluten-free rolls, but I declined.

Tips for Eating Clean at amusement parks:

If you are ever at Disneyland and need a great resource for gluten-free friendly foods, check here!

If your digestion is sensitive, I recommend bringing some HCL or digestive enzymes to help with any meals that may cause “problems”.

Ask questions! Many attractions are committed to keeping their customers happy which means they want to anticipate and accommodate your needs. Don’t be afraid to speak up!

Use Mr. Google. Unsure about the safety of a particular item? Look it up!

Plan ahead. This cannot be stressed enough. If you do not have your own safe choices, then you’re more likely to make poor choices and justify them out of desperation.

yay!

The Clean Slate is finished so I will no longer be recording my daily food here on the blog, but I will be resuming our regularly scheduled recipes and encouragements for healthy eating and living. I’m also committed to kicking the phone habit and starting the meditation habit. I will prevail!
