Home Stretch! 4 more days! Honestly, the food part isn’t hard at all. Sure, there have been some sugar slips here and there, but all in all it has been a breeze. The HARDEST thing is keeping away from my phone in the car and meditating! I seriously need to renew my resolve to meditate even after the Clean Slate is finished. Starting new habits is difficult. Especially when you feel like your new habit takes up valuable morning time… The funny thing is, I’m sure that the meditation IS the valuable part of the morning time. I guess it will just take a more concerted effort.
Breakfast: Pumpkin Banana Smoothie (see below)
Lunch: Applegate Beef Hot Dogs with Butternut Squash, 1/2 a paleo coconut cup
Dinner: 2 eggs, salami, and 1/4 avocado, a few macadamia nuts
Other beverages: yerba mate, water
Pumpkin Banana Smoothie
1 frozen banana
1 c. pumpkin puree
handful of baby kale
1/4 c. egg whites
1 Tbsp. pecans
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (cloves, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg)
pinch sea salt
8 oz. water or nut milk
- Put all ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth.
