Links I Love 5.0

It’s yet another time for some awesome links. Check them out below and give some love to the people who wrote them.

First, a quote from Ann VosKamp:

“Joy is a function of gratitude, and gratitude is a function of perspective. You only begin to change your life when you begin to change the way you see.”

I LOVE ELANA’S PANTRY! And I love her pancake recipe. So much so I made them on Christmas morning. I jazzed up the recipe by adding a little cocoa powder to some of the batter and making chocolate SWIRL pancakes. Nothing but the best for Christmas.

The Great Fitness Experiment’s post, Treat Your Body Like a Truck, Not a Trophy. Some major truth bombs in here!

“It’s about creating beauty instead of settling for just being beautiful…I need to close the gap between who I am and who I want to be and no amount of sit-ups is going to do that.”

Huffington Post, So You’re Feeeling too Fat to be Photographed?

“Can we acknowledge that the insecurities we have in our heads will never be a part of how our children, husbands, and friends see us? Can we just please let our loved ones remember the YOU they love?”

A timely post for after the holidays. So you’re feeling a bit too big after a Christmas binge…  that doesn’t mean you, your friends or family should miss out on making happy memories with you. Check your insecurities at the door this new year and vogue, baby!

Huff Post has been ON IT. Here’s another great addition to the links page; Lessons from a Box of Goldfish

“Ultimately, we’d teach our children that food is not fast. Rather, good food that fuels and nourishes takes a bit more time but, like most things, it’s time well spent.”
